Count down to Christmas with the Revell Engineers advent calendar. Over 24 days, children and hobbyists assemble a hydraulic excavator model from 130 parts. Every day, a new small build module is added until the full machine is complete.
The finished excavator has a hydraulic arm and shovel that can move in three directions, a mechanical chain drive, and a swiveling boom. The kit includes hoses and “oil” to fill the hydraulic system, plus tools (screwdriver, side cutter) and stickers for decoration.
This calendar not only gives daily surprises but teaches basic engineering and mechanics — how fluid pressure moves parts, how linkages work, and how assembling a machine step by step combines into a working model.
It’s intended for children aged 8 and up.
